One of my favourite things to do when i have bit of free time in London is indulge myself in a browse around one of the many Beauty Hauls, and my all time favourite has to be that of Debenhams! I feel like Debenhams Beauty Haul is a bit of a hidden gem, its a much for laid back, friendly atmosphere than some of the other beauty hauls I’ve ventured into, the staff are lovely and approachable, and the variety of different brands is amazing.

Earlier this week me and my blogger bestie Becca were lucky enough to be invited by Debenhams to come in to store for the ultimate Get Valentines (or GALentines!) ready experience! You see Debenhams is more than just a department store, its a place to indulge in the full girly day out experience. We had the best day and came away feeling utterly spoilt, and i’m so excited i get to share my experience with you!

We began with the personal shopping suite, first up i just want to make you aware that this is free! Yes free! Located on the 3rd floor, any customer can have the luxury of using one, you are able to book in advance but also just pop in on the day to see if theres one available. The staff are super lovely and helpful, will assist with style advice, grabbing different sizes for you, and just generally making for a more enjoyable experience.

I decided to go for a little black dress which was from Red Herring – i absolutely love the lace cap sleeve detail, super cute! I felt like this would be a super wearable piece in my wardrobe which would suit so many different occasions. I teamed that with a pair of stunning black suede quilted heeled boots from Faith – again super wearable and i have to admit i am a little obsessed with black boots and these are now my current faves! They are SO comfy! I then finished the look with a classic trench coatĀ from Debenhams Collection – this was so reasonably priced and super classy! A Burberry look without the price tag haha! I feel like i’m now never gunna have this coat off!

It was then time to move on to makeup! Now you guys know just how much i love makeup so having the chance to spend some quality one on one time with a makeup artist was a dream. I love doing my own makeup but i have to say theres something about getting your makeup done that feels such a special treat! We were treated to a makeover at the Makeup Forever counter, I had never actually tried any Makeup Forever products so this was even more exciting for me! I have to say i was absolutely wowed! The products are incredible, the girls were absolutely lovely, so helpful and i picked up so many useful tips (as well as a makeup wish list as long as my arm haha!) I loved having a more dramatic makeup look to what i would usually go for and it really helped me feel more confident to step out my comfort zone in future!

Last but by no means least we moved onto hair. We were treated to a blow dry at the Regis Salon which is situated inside Debenhams Oxford Street also on the 3rd floor. I went for a classic bouncy blow dry and was left feeling like a film star! My hair feels super soft and shiny even 3 days on. The difference a blow dry can make to your hair is really something i urge you to try out for yourself, its so worth it and i can completely see why people get so hooked! As always the staff were great, really friendly and put you at ease, i could of stayed and chatted away to my hair stylist all afternoon haha!

I thoroughly enjoyed my GALentines Get Ready experience at Debenhams and i can’t thank the team enough for such a special day! If you are planning on getting ready for an event or you just fancy an afternoon of pamper i highly recommend checking Debenhams out you will not be disappointed! I actually loved my look so much i decided to wear the outfit the next day at a Red Carpet Premiere of the new film How To be Single! It was also day 2 of my blow dry which i didn’t touch and i ‘tried’ to recreate the makeup the best i could haha!

Hope you enjoyed this post as it was a little bit different to usual! Have you tried any of the Beauty Treatments at Debenhams?

This post is in collaboration with Debenhams but all opinions are my own.
