Spring has well and truly sprung and i thought i would do a little round up on my blog of some of my current favourites! I have a nice mix of beauty, fashion & lifestyle bits – hope you enjoy!

First up for beauty – i have been obsessing over some of the new Too Faced releases. In general Too Faced is one of my all time favourite makeup brands, not only are the products really high quality the packaging is AMAZING! I have particularly been loving the new Sweethearts Blush in ‘Sparkling Bellini’ and the Sweetheart bronzer in ‘Sweet Tea’. Not only is the heart shaped packaging to die for the colours of both products are SO beautiful. The bronzer is such a gorgeous golden glow and the blush has just the right about of shimmer. IN LOVE.tf

Next up in beauty i have the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara. I just want to start by saying… WHERE HAVE I BEEN?! This mascara has been so hyped about for the last few months yet i only just tried it out last week! Obviously as i’m including it in this favourites it was an instant love. Definitely my new favourite mascara and from the drugstore too! Winning! Ive been looking for a mascara for some time now that gives me quite a dramatic look without my lashes looking too clumpy, and this does just that! I don’t tend to wear heavy eye makeup so a good mascara to make me look a bit more awake is an absolute must for me. I have definitely found my new go too!

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a pair of new straighteners from the GHD Azores collection, the collection screams holiday vibes and it was love at first sight! I got mine in the pearlescent green colour and they are absolutely dreamy. Of course as you would expect from GHD the straighteners themselves are second to none. They glide through my mane of hair so easily which makes doing my hair in a morning a pleasure not a chore for once! These beauties are also available in blue and pink. I do believe they’re limited edition so get them while you can!

ghdMoving on to Fashion faves. This time of year its all about the trainers for me. I love a good pair of heels don’t get me wrong, but nothing beats the comfy feeling of your favourite converse – and these all White Leather Hi top All Stars are my new absolute faves! I got them from  which is an awesome website for all of your shoe buying needs! They stock so many of my favourite brands, i was so impressed when i had a browse. Though i was spoilt for choice i ended up going for these converse and i am so happy with them. Being all leather they are so much easier to keep clean (especially with them being pure white!), and they are also water proof which is fab because here in the UK the chances of rain are always on the high side haha! I feel like i can pair these with literally any outfit for a cute, casual look. Definitely a staple in my wardrobe this Spring.converse

As for random favourites – i am completely obsessed with smoothies at the moment! As the weather gets warmer it definitely inspires me to eat a little healthier and i just find smoothies such a yummy treat whilst still being good for you! I find myself browsing on Pinterest for hours searching new recipes – ultimate form of procrastination! I actually found an amazing recipe for a banana smoothie on Pinterest which tastes like a chocolate milkshake but is packed with protein and super good for you! I made a few tweaks to the recipe and i feel like i now have it perfect so stay tuned on the blog in the next week as i will definitely be sharing that with you all 😉

I hope you enjoyed my ramblings about all the things i’m currently loving! Let me know if you’d like me to do this kind of thing again! I might even make this a weekly thing, i love making videos on my channel but one thing that does i wish is that i could share more with you as i don’t get to tell you guys about all the things I’m loving every single week, sometimes my weeks videos just don’t allow for it. So maybe if i start doing a weekly love list on here i will be able to share lots more of the things i’m loving with you! What do you think? It feels absolutely awesome to be back blogging.

Let me know in the comments what you’re loving this Spring?

One of my favourite things to do when i have bit of free time in London is indulge myself in a browse around one of the many Beauty Hauls, and my all time favourite has to be that of Debenhams! I feel like Debenhams Beauty Haul is a bit of a hidden gem, its a much for laid back, friendly atmosphere than some of the other beauty hauls I’ve ventured into, the staff are lovely and approachable, and the variety of different brands is amazing.

Earlier this week me and my blogger bestie Becca were lucky enough to be invited by Debenhams to come in to store for the ultimate Get Valentines (or GALentines!) ready experience! You see Debenhams is more than just a department store, its a place to indulge in the full girly day out experience. We had the best day and came away feeling utterly spoilt, and i’m so excited i get to share my experience with you!

We began with the personal shopping suite, first up i just want to make you aware that this is free! Yes free! Located on the 3rd floor, any customer can have the luxury of using one, you are able to book in advance but also just pop in on the day to see if theres one available. The staff are super lovely and helpful, will assist with style advice, grabbing different sizes for you, and just generally making for a more enjoyable experience.

I decided to go for a little black dress which was from Red Herring – i absolutely love the lace cap sleeve detail, super cute! I felt like this would be a super wearable piece in my wardrobe which would suit so many different occasions. I teamed that with a pair of stunning black suede quilted heeled boots from Faith – again super wearable and i have to admit i am a little obsessed with black boots and these are now my current faves! They are SO comfy! I then finished the look with a classic trench coat from Debenhams Collection – this was so reasonably priced and super classy! A Burberry look without the price tag haha! I feel like i’m now never gunna have this coat off!

It was then time to move on to makeup! Now you guys know just how much i love makeup so having the chance to spend some quality one on one time with a makeup artist was a dream. I love doing my own makeup but i have to say theres something about getting your makeup done that feels such a special treat! We were treated to a makeover at the Makeup Forever counter, I had never actually tried any Makeup Forever products so this was even more exciting for me! I have to say i was absolutely wowed! The products are incredible, the girls were absolutely lovely, so helpful and i picked up so many useful tips (as well as a makeup wish list as long as my arm haha!) I loved having a more dramatic makeup look to what i would usually go for and it really helped me feel more confident to step out my comfort zone in future!

Last but by no means least we moved onto hair. We were treated to a blow dry at the Regis Salon which is situated inside Debenhams Oxford Street also on the 3rd floor. I went for a classic bouncy blow dry and was left feeling like a film star! My hair feels super soft and shiny even 3 days on. The difference a blow dry can make to your hair is really something i urge you to try out for yourself, its so worth it and i can completely see why people get so hooked! As always the staff were great, really friendly and put you at ease, i could of stayed and chatted away to my hair stylist all afternoon haha!

I thoroughly enjoyed my GALentines Get Ready experience at Debenhams and i can’t thank the team enough for such a special day! If you are planning on getting ready for an event or you just fancy an afternoon of pamper i highly recommend checking Debenhams out you will not be disappointed! I actually loved my look so much i decided to wear the outfit the next day at a Red Carpet Premiere of the new film How To be Single! It was also day 2 of my blow dry which i didn’t touch and i ‘tried’ to recreate the makeup the best i could haha!

Hope you enjoyed this post as it was a little bit different to usual! Have you tried any of the Beauty Treatments at Debenhams?

This post is in collaboration with Debenhams but all opinions are my own.

If any of you watch me on youtube, or follow me on instagram, you will know that its no secret I’m a bit of a Zoella fangirl! So when the launch of her new makeup bags came about i simply had to get my hands on them!
Previously on my youtube channel i have done a couple of Zoella unboxing videos, the original range additions and the Christmas range, both videos went down really well and as soon as a new full range drops i will be definitely be doing a video review! But as these two bags have just launched i thought it would be nice to do a little blog post on them for you! 🙂 I absolutely love supporting ‘Team Internet’, and i think Zoe is a truly lovely and inspirational lady.
The first bag as you can see pictured below is the Zoella Beauty Winking Bag. Its a really handy little size to fit in all your beauty essentials for on the go. I like to keep things quite organised inside my handbag, so if I’m wanting to pack my lip stick and some powder to touch up through out a busy day i find bags of this size really helpful. Of course in true Zoe style the bag is super colourful, cute and eye catching – literally! If you tilt the bag up and down you will receive a friendly wink from Zoe! I thought this was such a nice touch and really makes the bag stand out from the crowd!
 w - 2
w - 1The next bag is slightly bigger than the above, but still a nice handy size that would comfortably fit in your handbag. I absolutely love the colour and the gorgeous glittery font, but what i think really makes this bag super special is that on the reverse Zoe has listed ‘A few of her Favourite Things’, i thought this was so cute and such a lovely personal touch!
w - 3 w - 4Both bags as always are available on Feel Unique and Superdrug. They are really reasonably priced at £8 and £10, a great gift or just as a little treat to yourself! 🙂
I am so happy to have these two gorgeous bags added to my collection and I’m excited for future Zoella Beauty ranges! Which one is your favourite?
Much Love

It’s reached that time again. The time when we set ourselves our resolutions for the year that lies ahead. I thought rather than do a traditional ‘New Years Resolutions’ post i would do something that involves you a bit more. So here are 10 quotes which i will definitely be trying to live by this year on my quest to become a healthier, happier, more productive version of myself. I’ve put my own personal spin on some of them to help you get to know me a bit more. Hopefully they help some of you guys too 🙂

1.  If it makes you happy, do it. If it doesn’t, don’t. Its that simple. I’m joking – if only it was haha! But seriously, it really is something that i think we all could benefit from keeping in mind. At the end of the day, happiness is the most important thing in life and if your not, you need to try to eliminate the things which are making a negative impact.

2. Its never too late to be what you might of been. I’m sure a lot of us can relate to the feeling of ‘this is it’, this is the way our life has panned out so this is what we must settle for. Wrong. You have the power to change the direction of your life at any given moment. Whether that be a lifestyle change, or taking up a new college course, or quitting your job to start a fresh, anything. For me my biggest aim this year is to get back into performing arts, my passion in life. After a rocky year of injury and health set backs i lost my way with it all. But its who i am, and i’m determined to throw myself back into it, no matter how hard it may be, i will get my confidence back, and i will be on stage again. Watch this space 😉

3. Be happy with what you’ve got, while working for what you want. Its so easy to get caught up in what your longing for, may that be a job promotion, or to lose that last 10 pounds, we all have goals which can consume our minds. I’m so guilty of having the constant thought in my head of ‘i will be so much happier when…’ but you have to remember that all we really have is the present moment in time, and we must enjoy it. Of course its completely ok to have goals and ambitions, but don’t forget to ‘just be’ and enjoy the moment, or the most special moments of our lives will pass us by.

4. Nothing will make you feel better apart from doing the work. This can relate to so many different situations, but basically what I’m saying is if you want something you have to work for it. The only person who can make the change is you. So whether that be you want to pass your driving test, get fit, ace your next assignment, the only way thats gunna happen is if you get up and put the work in. Its tough love, but it’s the way it is. For me this year i really want to throw myself into my career and make my youtube & blog content the best it possibly can be, with consistent uploads. That and getting back into performing. Not forgetting taking over the world haha 😉 Success is not luck, its hard work.

5. Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive about what could go right. I’m the first to admit how guilty i am of this. A change of mindset is definitely something that i could benefit a hell of a lot from. Its so easy to slip into the habit of constantly thinking of the negatives, but where does it get you really? Positive thinking is free, and it basically makes absolutely everything instantly easier, better and more fun! Who doesn’t want that?

6. Don’t compare your chapter 1, to someone else chapter 20. One of my favourites. Comparison is the thief of joy. So why do we do it? Its hard now with our minds being constantly bombarded by social media with what everyone else is doing, but sometimes you have to take a step back and say to yourself actually no, I’m doing pretty great myself and thats what most important. Everyone is on there own personal journey, we all learn, grow and begin at different times. As long as your moving forward, thats all that matters.

7. Worrying doesn’t stop the bad stuff from happening, it just stops you from enjoying the good. For someone who has anxiety, this quote speaks volumes with me. But everyone has worry and too much worry is not good for anyone. Each time your mind goes into over thinking mode, quickly ask yourself ‘wait, what is this going to achieve? Other than stop me from enjoying the moment I’m in right now.’

8.  You can’t rush something you want to last forever. If you want to make a change, you can’t expect it to happen over night, it might take a month, a year or even more, but something that really helps me is to remember that the time will pass anyway. You might as well spend that time wisely and work towards your goals. After all, nothing worth having comes easy!

9. Stop looking for happiness in the same place you lost it. I can relate to this for personal reasons which is a whole other story. But its true that we must remind our selves we must eliminate the toxic things (or people!) from our life in order to feel happiness, and we must resist temptation to go back to those things no matter how strong the urge may be. Oh and for the record, you don’t ever have to feel guilty for removing toxic people out of your life.

10. Everything is going to be ok, if its not ok, its not the end. No matter how bad things may seem, how down you may be, it will pass. So if your going through a tough time remember that nothing is permanent, and things are gunna work out! 🙂

I hope you enjoyed this post guys. Let me know if you’d like more stuff like this, i’m on my own personal journey to happiness and i would love to have you on board. Plus i find writing this kind of thing very thereputic. What are some of your favourite quotes to live by for this year?

Happy New Year my lovelies! I hope 2016 is off to a wonderful start for you all. When it came to writing this years New Years Resolutions it came to my attention that many of them were beauty related, and as i’m a beauty blogger i thought it would be fun to share my top 10 beauty resolutions with you!
1. Drink more water. I’m sure your tired of hearing people say this but its definitely something i need to work towards. I’ve never been someone to drink water, intact i rarely manage one glass a day! So i think its time to swap my cans of pepsi max for a healthier alternative! As you may have heard me mention on my youtube channel i suffer with dry skin, so i feel like staying hydrated should be the obvious choice for me above any fancy moisturiser! I’m going to aim to drink the recommended 8 glasses a day, wish me luck! And please feel free to tweet me at any time reminding me haha!
2. Cleanse my skin. Now i’m gunna be honest with you guys, despite being a ‘beauty blogger’ up until about 4 months ago i was the girl who would go to bed with there makeup on, then at the last minute before i fell asleep i would grab a makeup wipe and half heartedly scrub off the days face. Terrible i know hahaha! So i’m now making it my mission to have a proper skincare routine and stick to it! I often get into a routine and then get lazy after a couple of days, but this time i am determined to find what works for my skin and be consistent. Double cleanse, moisturise, the lot! I can’t wait to see the results!
3. Make use of my products. As you all know, i am a lover of beauty products, i would actually go as far as say i have an addiction haha! So my beauty collection is quite a size! Yet i still manage to stick to the same 10-15 products, never really stepping out of my comfort zone. So this year i have decided to make a point of using different things! It will also really benefit my youtube channel as i’ll be using tons of different products in my makeup tutorials!
4. Dare to wear. Kind of linking to number 3, i need to really push myself outside of my comfort zone and try out some different makeup looks, and hair styles! I have definitely found my ‘everyday makeup’ face, but when i have that extra 10 minutes to get ready in a morning, or when it comes to planning makeup tutorials/blog posts, i really need to dare to wear some different looks. I convince myself that certain things don’t suit me, for example winged liner, when intact its probably just because I’m not used to seeing it on my face!
5. Clean my makeup brushes. This is something i really need to work on. Obviously makeup brushes become congested with product, and carry bacteria, so its really important to keep on top of cleaning them, something which i will admit i rarely do! I actually quite enjoy cleaning them, i find it therapeutic, so i just need to actually do it!
6. Mix up my hair routine. As well as makeup, i’m very lucky that i get a lot of hair products sent to me, and of course i buy lots of my own, yet i still seem to again stick to the same 5 or 6 products, never branching out when intact i could be missing out on discovering something great. I’m gunna change up my shampoo and conditioner every few weeks as its actually beneficial to your hair. Your hair can ‘get used to’ a product, and build up can start to happen, so its good to mix it up a bit!
7. Get my Beauty Sleep. Sleep is so important, we all know that, but its something i really struggle with. I find it so hard to switch off at night, and find myself scrolling through instagram in the early hours of the morning. Admittedly yes i do all the wrong things before i go to bed, caffeine, looking at screens, so i am going to make a conscious effort to try and get a good nights sleep which should in turn help my body, mind, and hopefully those pesky underage bags i seem to be carrying!
8. Tan! Everyones different, but personally i feel so much better with a tan, it suits me and it just gives me that boost of confidence! However i am from the UK and i don’t travel as much as a would like too, so getting a natural tan isn’t really gunna happen for me, so i need to keep on top of my tanning game! That means moisturise, exfoliate, the whole lot, and of course tanning from the bottle is so much safer and better for your skin!
9. Improve my makeup game. I am the first to admit, i am not the best when it comes to makeup, i just have a love for it and i like to share that love with others on the internet, that doesn’t make me the best makeup artist in the world, I’m just a regular girl. But i would absolutely love to improve my makeup skills, whether that be just watching more makeup tutorials and trying out new things, or doing a course, i would just love to be able to create better content for you, and look on fleek hahaha!
10. Have fun with beauty! My last resolution is definitely to have fun! Whether that be playing around with new makeup products, or having some chill time with a face mask hanging out with the girls, beauty products are there to be enjoyed! They are there to make us feel good, and its ok to take that extra 10 minutes in a morning to really sit down and enjoy putting your makeup on!
So there are my top 10 beauty resolutions for 2016, do you have any? I would love to know! Leave a comment below and we can chat!
My general 2016 Resolutions post will be up very soon!
